What we use
Your microphone, only when you talk. Speech is turned into text on the phone with Google speech recognition when available. Chat text is sent to our servers so Lily or Ethan can answer. We send their English reply to a voice service so you can hear them.
What stays on the phone
Your name, language settings, talk history, and how much voice time you have used.
What we do not do
We do not sell your voice or your chats. We do not use your conversations to advertise to you.
Who helps us run the app
Our servers (Supabase), the language model that writes replies, Fish Audio for Lily and Ethan’s voices, and Google Play for payments if you subscribe.
Account
You can sign in with Google or with email. To delete your SpeakStory AI account, use the account deletion page.
Children
SpeakStory AI is for people 13 and older.
